Step-by-step keratin application
Follow this structured five-step treatment guide to ensure deep penetration, optimal thermal sealing, and enduring salon-grade results.
Wash the hair with KG Keratin Shampoo to remove build-up and open the hair cuticle.
Divide the hair into sections and apply the KG Keratin with a brush evenly. Comb and massage the product into each section of the hair to ensure maximum penetration.
Use 45 ml to 60 ml on average. Do not apply the product directly on the scalp; always wear protective gloves.
Once the product has been applied all over, remove any excess product using a fine tail comb several times on each layer.
Section and straighten the hair with a flat iron that can reach 230°C, going over each section 4 to 6 times. Adjust the temperature according to hair texture and porosity.
Ironing should be repeated or set after 24 to 48 hours, then wash and condition using KG Shampoo and Mask for optimal longevity.
Always conduct a preliminary strand test
Adjust heat levels between 200°C and 230°C depending on client hair sensitivity, bleached status, and porosity levels.
